A few steps from the Ancient Theatre and the Villa Comunale of Taormina, Teatro44 welcomes its guests in an elegant and intimate location, where art and gastronomy meet.
Every detail of the interior is designed to offer an immersive experience: the walls host works by international artists, the atmosphere is intimate, essential, refined. A place that knows how to speak through taste and beauty.
During the summer, our outdoor tables open onto the characteristic streets of Taormina, offering an authentic glimpse of the city. A quiet and private corner, perfect for an outdoor dinner with a truly Sicilian flavour.

Salvatore denaro
Originally from Messina, he trained professionally at the Università dei Sapori in Perugia. From here his journey into haute cuisine began, which led him to collect experiences in starred restaurants in different parts of the world.
Among his most significant stops are Milan, Paris, Salina and Panarea. In 2019 he reached the final of the prestigious Cous Cous Fest, also winning the “Most voted on the web” award with over 2000 preferences. This recognition gives him visibility at a national level, also bringing him to television on channels such as Rai 3 and Italia 1.
In 2024 he reached the semifinals of the Sicily Young Chef competition, organized by All Food Sicily. After years of travel and training, in 2020 he decided to settle in Taormina, where he took over the management of the Teatro 44 restaurant. Here he recounts, through his dishes, the synthesis of the experiences he has lived and the cultures he has encountered along his journey.

Creativity, passion and a spirit of discovery: these are the ingredients that Giada brings every day to the kitchen of Teatro 44. A tireless traveler and lover of international cultures, she has tasted and studied the cuisines of the world, transforming every experience into inspiration.
Today she takes care of the restaurant's pastry shop with dedication, where she creates original, refined and surprising desserts. Her creations blend distant flavours and contemporary techniques, giving our guests a meal finale that is a real sensory journey
